A new era in amputation prevention

A New Era in Amputation Prevention

A New Era in Amputation Prevention

Sequelae of an amputation

An amputation in the foot even something as “small" as a single toe can set off a domino effect that leads to further, more aggressive amputations over time.

Biomechanical pressure Imbalance

Ulcer progression and bone infection

Muscle atrophy

Neuro-Vascular compromise

What is LimbGuard?

What is LimbGuard?

LIMBGUARD
$500.00

LimbGuard is a smart-wearable garment that acts as a digital nervous system for patients who can no longer feel.

It continuously monitors:

  • Pressure to detect high-risk areas

  • Temperature for pre-ulcerative inflammation

  • pH for skin flora changes, detecting early infection

All data is sent in real-time to an AI-powered app,
which learns patient behavior and provides personalized alerts and prevention guidance.

How our SYSTEM works

Task 1

Learns individual patterns and creates a map with pH levels, temperature changes, and pressure increases

01

Task 2

Identifies vulnerable moments (early signs of ulcers, pressure shifts and signs of infections)

02

Task 3

Provides customized recommendations for each patient’s ADL (Activities of Daily Living) needs

03

Where LimbGuard Wins

An innovative garment with biometric data and sensors used as a preventive medical device to prevent second amputations.

Detects temperature increases to identify inflammation corresponding to pre-ulcerative lesions or existing ulcers to prevent bone infection

Temperature

Uses pH changes to monitor bodily discharge, skin flora composition, pre-ulcerative lesions to prevent more ulcer progression

pH

Generates a customized heatmap of the foot or limb pressure to predict damage-prone areas vulnerable to skin break-down

Pressure

Save limbs. Save lives. With LimbGuard!
